Folks,
I recently posted on the QuantifiedSelf blog about my experiences with what I’m calling “performance testing” (aka, testing to baseline performance rather than illness). You can read about it here:
Over the next few weeks I’d like to post a little more in depth about various things I’ve learned out of this testing whether that be specifically as result of the consultation or as a result it trigging questions in my mind that I’ve had to research offline. Topics I would expect to cover would include:
- What is VO2Max and what is it good for?
- Hormone Levels – A Static Indicator or a Performance Target
- High-Intensity Training and Lactic Threshold
- The Merits of Different Methods of Measuring Body Fat
I’m sure there are more but let’s see what I have time for. If people have a strong interest in some topic drop me a line.
